A cream is essentially made up of two phases, a fatty phase and an aqueous phase, in this case provided by the water contained in the machine, in the form of an emulsion.

Emulsifiers are used to maintain cohesion between these two phases. In the case of the Crème Main texture, the cream is particularly thick because it contains rich semi-solid fats to deeply nourish the skin, even at cuticle level, and humectants to maintain its natural moisture level.
