Sodium hyaluronate, more commonly known as hyaluronic acid, is renowned for its anti-aging and moisturizing properties. Present in our active ingredients with a low molecular weight (from 10 to 150 kDa), it can penetrate and act on the different layers of the skin, acting on both deep support fibers and the skin's surface. It has been proven to reduce wrinkles, increase skin thickness and reduce visible pores.

INCI: Hydrolyzed sodium hyaluronate
This hyaluronic acid has an extremely low molecular weight, around 5 kDa, and reaches the deepest layers of the skin. In addition to the benefits of the previous grade of HA, this one is objectified for an anti-inflammatory effect, and an effect favoring the skin's natural synthesis of hyaluronic acid.

How it works
After the age of 25, skin cells begin to lose their properties: skin becomes thinner, looser, less elastic, rougher and less luminous. These processes can be accelerated by internal factors such as heredity, but also by external factors such as exposure to the sun's UV rays, smoking, stress and so on. In fact, in the deepest part of the skin, the dermis, where supporting fi bres such as collagen and elastin are produced, cells are no longer sufficiently supplied with oxygen, energy and nutrients. Degradation processes eventually take over and attack healthy cells.

This is where the deepest wrinkles form. In the most superficial part of the skin, the epidermis, cell renewal diminishes, making skin dry, rough and dull.
